Inspection Discipline

Veritas Facade

Facade audits, building-envelope assessments, and condition reports captured in 3D and anchored for the life of the asset.

Overview

Veritas Facade is the building-envelope discipline of the Veritas Inspect platform. Certified rope-access technicians assess every element of the facade at close range, capture each defect against a 3D model, and drive it through a structured remediation pipeline.

Facade audits and condition assessments are sub-types within the one discipline, so a routine compliance audit and a detailed building-envelope investigation share the same permanent record. Every report, drawing, and scan is encrypted, content-addressed, and anchored to the Veritas Ledger.

FAQ

Facade questions, answered

Is a condition assessment different from a facade audit?
They are two sub-types within Veritas Facade and share the same record. A facade audit is a periodic compliance-driven inspection that classifies defects against Australian standards. A condition assessment is a deeper, building-envelope investigation that traces water paths, evaluates system performance, and supports capital works planning. Both feed the same 3D model and the same permanent Veritas Ledger record for the asset.
What does Veritas Facade deliver?
A structured digital defect register, an interactive 3D model from LiDAR and photogrammetry with every defect pinned to its exact location, compliance documentation referencing AS 4349 and NCC Part F3, a severity-ranked remediation queue with cost estimates, and an end-to-end remediation pipeline through to verified completion. Each artifact is anchored to the Veritas Ledger.
How does Veritas Facade connect to the Veritas Ledger?
When a report is issued, the report, drawings, defect photos, and point-cloud data are encrypted client-side (AES-256-GCM), content-addressed, attested by the engineer, and rolled into a Merkle root anchored to the Veritas Ledger. Anyone with the verification code can confirm the document is genuine and unaltered, without trusting Veritas.
