Software module

Veritas MEP

MEP asset registers, planned preventive maintenance, recurring schedules, daily dockets and maintenance reports for building services programmes.

Veritas MEP is the software module for mechanical, electrical and plumbing maintenance programmes. It is designed for teams that need asset registers, planned preventive maintenance, field evidence capture, daily dockets and professional maintenance reporting in one operational record.

Unlike a services brochure page, this module hub explains the product workflows your workspace uses. If you need Veritas Inspect crews to deliver the servicing work, use the professional services and MEP discipline pages. If you need the operating system those crews and facility teams share, you are in the right place.

The module sits inside the wider Veritas Inspect platform, so MEP records can connect to safety, workforce and compliance controls where those modules are enabled for the same workspace.

Commercial setup remains operator-led. There is no instant self-serve company signup. Book a demo to see the live product, or request workspace access through sales.

Product tour

How MEP works in the platform

A typical MEP tour starts with assets registered against a building: UPS, CRAC, HVAC, generators, fire systems and other configured plant. Each asset carries service history, readings, photos and compliance context.

Planned preventive maintenance schedules define what must be done and when. Technicians execute work items in the field, capture evidence and raise faults against the same asset record.

Daily dockets and attendance capture who was on site, what was completed and what remains open. Supervisors review progress without reconstructing paper dockets at end of day.

Maintenance reports assemble structured servicing data into professional outputs for owners, certifiers and internal QA, while the register remains the living record between report cycles.

Buyer outcomes

What different teams get

Facility and asset managers

A durable MEP asset register with service history, fault tracking and schedule visibility across critical plant.

Maintenance contractors

Repeatable PPM execution with daily dockets, evidence capture and package completion tracking.

Data centre and critical-facility operators

Structured UPS, CRAC and generator servicing records that survive contractor turnover.

Compliance and ESM coordinators

Servicing evidence organised for essential safety measures and maintenance certificate pathways.

Workflow

End-to-end operating sequence

  1. Step 1

    Register assets

Configure MEP assets against buildings with taxonomy, locations and service parameters.

  2. Step 2

    Plan maintenance

Define PPM schedules, recurring tasks and package scopes for each asset class.

  3. Step 3

    Execute in the field

Complete work items, capture readings, photos and faults on site.

  4. Step 4

    Record dockets and attendance

Log daily progress, labour and attendance against the active work package.

  5. Step 5

    Report and close packages

Generate maintenance reports and mark package completion with retained evidence.

  6. Step 6

    Re-schedule from history

Use the asset register as the baseline for the next PPM cycle or reactive follow-up.

Implementation

How teams adopt the module

Implementation usually begins with workspace provisioning, asset taxonomy and the MEP categories your technicians will service. Asset naming, location references and task libraries should be agreed before the first live package.

Teams then run a pilot PPM cycle to validate schedules, dockets, report and completion expectations. Integrations such as WhatsApp notifications are feature-flagged and should be confirmed rather than assumed.

Training focuses on field discipline: complete the work item, capture the reading, photograph the evidence once. That discipline is what makes later reporting and compliance assembly fast.

Security and compliance

Controls that support trust

  • Tenant-scoped data isolation for workspace records
  • Role-based access for internal users, contractors and client viewers
  • Audit-friendly timestamps and evidence attachments on service records
  • Optional Veritas Ledger anchoring where that permanence layer is configured for the deployment

Honest scope

Limitations and deployment notes

WhatsApp notifications

WhatsApp messaging is feature-flagged and should not be marketed as an always-on capability across every deployment.

Ledger sync

Veritas Ledger anchoring depends on deployment configuration and should not be assumed universal.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Veritas MEP software or a field service?
Both exist, but they are separated on purpose. This module is the software. Professional MEP field delivery is covered under Services and the MEP discipline pages.
How much does the MEP module cost?
The module subscription is A$50 per workspace per month. Report and related usage charges apply when paid outputs are confirmed. See the pricing page for current defaults.
Can we start with a demo workspace?
Yes. Book a guided demo of the live product. Production workspace access is provisioned by operators after commercial setup.
Does MEP include WhatsApp notifications?
WhatsApp messaging is feature-flagged and deployment-dependent. Do not assume it is always-on; confirm during onboarding.
What is not included by default?
Do not assume Ledger sync in every deployment, full CMMS replacement, or always-on WhatsApp alerts. Confirm those during onboarding.
How does MEP connect to other modules?
The same workspace can enable Structures, Safety and Workforce where those controls are needed around maintenance programmes.
Where do we see full commercial detail?
Use the pricing page and downloadable pricing guide. The in-app price shown at confirmation governs each paid action.
